Education holds Meeting on Developments in the Individual Performance System

HE Majid bin Said Al-Bahri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs, patronaged the "meeting on developments in the work of the individual performance system" which was organized by the Ministry of Education represented by the Office of the Individual Performance System Management, in the presence of the Directors-General of the Directorates-General in the governorates, and at the ministry's General Diwan. The meeting took place at the Hormuz Hotel, Muscat, on Monday.

This meeting came with the aim of discussing the most important and latest developments in the work of the individual performance system. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Salwa Al-Qasabi, the Director of the Individual Performance System Office in the Ministry, stressed the importance of considering the enablers of building the individual plan, and the role of the direct official in this aspect because of its impact on the level of performance evaluation. She also touched on some performance indicators in the first and second evaluation cycle, in addition to the most important achievements of the individual performance system management office at the level of proficiency system and the job rotation initiative.

After that, Dr. Fatima Al-Hammadi, Head of the Individual Performance Plans Department, presented the most important determinants of working on individual plans, and the importance of focusing on these controls and determinants, as they are the cornerstone of the individual performance system.

After that, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hadrami touched on the simulation stage in evaluating actual performance and the mechanism of working on it, in addition to discussing the work mechanism in the stages of the interim and annual assessment, simulating the actual reality and standing on the most important challenges, and work mechanisms that ensure access to individual proficiency.

The rotation initiative was also discussed and its importance for the unit, the official and the employee, and the requirements for working with it and introducing its stages.
