Supervisory Practices in Improving Achievements Discussion

The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision - Department of Supervision of Human Sciences, carried out yesterday morning "Wednesday" a virtual discussion session on "The Role of Supervisory Practices in Improving Students’ Achievement Level in Geography", via TEEMS platform.

At the beginning of the discussion session, Darwish Al-Kiyumi, Assistant Director of the Human Sciences Supervision Department, gave a welcoming speech, in which he pointed out at the role of supervisory practices in raising the level of academic achievement and providing technical support relevant to the teaching and learning process. The discussion session included two main themes: “analysis of academic achievement results and their impact on improving supervisory practices,” and “dealing with the observations contained in the final examination and audit report”.

The discussion session targeted a number of the first supervisors of geography in the educational governorates with the aim of presenting and analyzing the results of the academic achievement of all the educational governorates for the academic year 2021/2022. The discussion session also aimed at improving the supervisory practices of first supervisors based on the analysis of achievement indicators for this academic year and highlighting the interactive participatory role between first supervisors in the governorates and those in the Humanities Sciences Supervision Department with regard to academic achievement.
