Under the auspices of HE Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniya, Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education celebrated the Omani Women’s Day, which comes on the 17th of October every year. The Sultanate of Oman’s celebration of Women’s Day this year under the slogan “women are partners in development” in the belief in their role in the era of renewed renaissance.
The celebration ceremony included a poem recited by Zakiya Al Hashmi, Arabic Language Teacher at the Al Sharqiyah South Governorate, who was honored among the distinguished teachers on E-learning platforms. After that, HE honored Sumaiya Al Siyabi, who won the Stars of Science as the first Arab Women for her scientific innovation in the environment. HE also honored Khadeeja Al Mafreji, who won the first place in the Rahid bin Homaid Award for Culture and Science for her literary creativity.
The Muscat Hall at the Ministry of Education General Diwas also hosted a diverse min exhibition for private institutions and home-based projects.
In addition, Manal Al Khaifi, a Trainer, gave a lecture entitled "Dealing with Stress through Breathing" and Salwa Al-Ghafria, a Make-up Artist, gave a "Make-up Lesson" in the Khasab Hall in the Ministry's General Diwan.
