The Ministry of Education launched an electronic system to facilitate the mission of a researcher, the launching ceremony was under the auspices of the Under-Secretary of State for Education, Dr.Abdallah bin Khamis Ambusaidi, in the Ministry’s Main Cabinet Office. In addition, the launch aimed to develop the services provided by the Ministry to the beneficiaries through its Education Portal, it is also as a part of the increase in the number of post-graduate students, and researchers who wish to apply their research in school education. The Ministry believes in the importance of scientific research and its recommendations in the development of the educational system in the Sultanate.

In addition, the online system provides postgraduate students with many research services, such as applying for permission to apply for research in the education field, obtaining data and information that relevant to the study. The system also provides urgent and important research priorities for the Ministry, thereby making use of the potential of graduate students and researchers to study and examine educational issues. Moreover, the system allows applicants to write summaries of their studies after they have been completed and accredited by universities or funding entities.

It also to be mentioning that the Technical Office for Development and Studies works to adopting the Ministry's Research Implementation Regulation board, which will frame the Ministry's research and guarantee the rights of the researchers clearly. In addition, the office will prepare a clear information and awareness plan in the coming period to make universities and educational institutions aware of the electronic system mechanism and the regulations for conducting research in the Ministry of Education.
