H.E.the Minister of Education, Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al-Shaibania, issued a ministerial decision approving the regulations and foundations of the general framework for schools operating. Moreover, the decision comes in implementation of the directives to mark this year as a year of hybrid education, and to prepare for the beginning of new academic year 2020/2021.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Education continued its great efforts in preparing plans and programs to reopen schools and ensure the safety of students, teachers and administration staff and benefiting form the best regional and global experiences and practices in terms of following education systems, in accordance with the educational  context of the Sultanate. In addition, the Ministry prepared a general framework to opening schools and publishing documents through the education portal including the e learning organizational document, complementary program for curriculum, teaching content for schools curriculum, students' affairs board, the teacher guide in using e-platform, students guide in using e-platform, teaching plan of e- education and the mechanisms of special education operating.
