H.E.Dr.Madiha Al Shibaniyah, the, Minster of Education received H.E.Azza Al Ismaili, the Minister of Technology and Communication in her office today morning. The meeting aimed at reviewing a number of various issues such as the technical aspect of Ministry of Education and its future vision for distance learning, the challenges regarding this matter, suggested cooperation aspects between the two Ministries and the equipment at the information technology and communication field. Moreover, the attendance discussed the supportive digital systems of distance learning, digital empowerment for schools and users, artificial intelligence, interactive education for distance learning and the preparation of legislation and laws relating to the use of information technology and communication. During the meeting, they agreed to prepare a short- term plan and another long-term plan, in which the two Ministries coordinated to provide better technical services in the coming period.  

It is worth to be mentioning that, the meeting attended by Dr.Bader Al Khuroosi, the Director General of Human Resources Development Directorate in the Ministry of Education, Dr.Yahya Al Harthi, the Director General for Curriculum and Dr.Nasser Al Abri, the IT Director at the Ministry of Education and Faisal Al Busaidi, the Assistant Director at the IT Directorate. In addition, Dr.Salim Al Ruzaiki, the Executive Head at the Communication and Technology Ministry.
