The Ministry of Education (MoE) signed an agreement to support the platform of e-preparation for teachers in a collaboration with a number of private sector institutions as result to present the support for education digital initiatives. The platform has several new features such as, the possibility of linking between the platform and the data of schools and teachers, coding of educational lessons, objectives and teaching methods to make it easier for the teachers to enter the platform and summon the digital preparation on a daily or periodic basis. In addition, the platform provides the ability to add many educational links of media and educational sources of the lesson with resources available in the Sultanate Oman Educational Portal or digital library or which integrated with educational platform or prepared by the teacher. Moreover, the teachers can exchange preparation among them and make united digital preparation to be available online for teachers. Also, the platform can help in connecting the e-preparation with outcomes of supervisory visits by educational supervisors, so the teacher can benefit to develop teaching methods. In addition, the platform includes diverse competence for senior teachers, schools heads, senior supervisors, general seniors. The platform used by computers, tablets and smart phone applications and it expected that the first stage of the initiative would operate by the beginning of new academic year.
It is also to be mentioning that the initiative establishes within  educational digital initiatives the Ministry of Education seek to implement during the next stage as a part of comprehensive electronic transformation.
