Education Minister Visits Schools in Muscat
Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, visited a number of schools in Muscat Governorate. The minister was accompanied by Fatma Abdul Abbas Norani, the Minister’s Adviser for curriculum development, Dr Ali bin Saif al Jahwari, Director-General of Education in Muscat Governorate and a number of directors-general, and educational officials and supervisors.
The visit was aimed at following up the efforts exerted in the educational field to improve the academic standards of the students and meeting the teaching and administrative staffs of these schools to identify their needs.
The Minister stressed the importance of introducing students to future jobs and provide them with a sufficient knowledge of labor market requirements, and promote their entrepreneurship and other aspects that enhance Oman vision (Oman 2040).
