Under the patronage of Yaqoob Al Shuhimi, the Assistant Director General for Education Planning and HR Development and IT at Muscat Directorate, the media forum events kicked off at Muscat College. It began with a welcoming participation by schools students and Abdullah Al Jardani, the Section Head of Public Relation and Education Media delivered a speech where he pointed out that event aimed to exchange the ideas and visions about the reality of education media in the Sultanate, and provide technical skills and digital knowledge. He also added that the forum focused on how to use technology, and modern applications in online learning, making professional video using smart mobile.

After that, Samir Al Nimri, a Reporter in Al Jazeera Channel presented the first work paper. He talked about how to take a photo, use smart applications and accessories. Also he emphasized on the importance of choosing appropriate content in the social media networks. Moreover, Majid Al Hisani, and Anisa Al Maskri discussed diverse topics such as information security and internet websites, applications. At the end, the main guest honored the sponsoring institutions, and work papers presenters.

It is also to be noted that the forum implemented to keep up with modern information technology and cyber-security in order to protect the net users and increase the career development among media coordinators.
