Dr Aflah Al Kindi, the Director General of Education presided over the third forum of information technology subject in the Cultural Nizwa Center Theater and under the logo (Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things) with presence of a number of representatives from participating entities and the IT teachers of schools in the Governorate.
   Moreover, the forum aimed to spread the awareness among those who are interested in the technology, internet of things and artificial intelligence, exchange the local and global experiences of industrial revolution technologies employment at education sector, introduce the best practices and apply the concepts and skills of fourth industrial revolution in curriculum and learning sources centers at schools. In addition, it aimed to develop the services of learning sources centers and to build effective partnership among society, private, government and educational institutions and follow new cases of industrial revolution.     
 The event started with speech delivered by Saif Al Hajji, the Section Head of Applied Science at the HR Source Department where he highlighted the role of the forum in providing appropriate opportunity at IT use, internet of things, artificial intelligence and communication at education field. He also clarified some facts about the previous forums; the first forum targeted (268) teachers or supervisors at information technology subject and attracted (80) students projects and (15) work papers presented during the first forum.     
After that, the forum began with various work sheets such as (Artificial Intelligence and education process) presented by Dr.Zahra Al Rawahi. The Head of Building Innovative Capacities at Science Research Council and Faisal Al Busaidi, the Assistant Director at the IT Directorate General at the Ministry of Education Cabinet presented (Virtual Reality and its Impact on Educational Process).On the other hand, forum witnessed an exhibition of students projects and products of participating companies in Nizwa Grand Mall.
It is also to mentioning that the events of the forum continues today with several sessions. The first session includes two work papers. The first paper (the Adoption of Massive Data and Internet of Things at Fourth Industrial Revolution Age) presented by Dr.Salim Al Shuali, the First Executive Officer at the Communication and Technology Ministry and Talal Al Asmi, the Director of Information Security at the Ministry of Education will present ( the Challenges of electronic information Security). The rest of work session will implemented later and, which include eight work papers that link with education process.
