Under the patronage of HE. Shaikh Abdullah Al Farsi, the Wali of Mahdah, Al Buraimi Directorate General of Education celebrated the week of education for citizenship under the logo (Oman comes first) with collaboration of Al Buraimi Basic Education School (5-7).Also, the event presented by Dr.Fathiyah Al Saddi, the Director General of IT Directorate in Al Buraimi Governorate, Directors of government institutions and others.

The ceremony began with recitation of the Holy Quarn. Then, Dr Fatyhiyah delivered a speech where she said that Al Buraimi Directorate launched the program of citizenship education for the current academic year 2019/2020, which aimed to instill values and concepts of citizenship among students and the individuals in the society. She added that a team formed to enhance the spirit of awareness of the program and conducted several programs and visited some important characters who contributed to build the country at various fields. After that Ahmed al Hadidi, a Studies Specialist and Member in Citizenship Team reviewed the plan and programs of citizenship education week. At the end, a number of Omani inspiring characters played as an embodiment and students danced folk dance (Al Razfah)
