Education Minister Receives ISC President
HE.Dr. Madiha Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, received at her Office on Monday Professor Sir Peter Gluckman, President of the International Science Council (ISC) and his accompanying delegation with presence of HE Dr Hilal Al Hinai, Secretary General of The Research Council (TRC).
During the meeting, the essential preparations for the Sultanate’s hosting of the ISC General Assembly, to be held on October 9th-14th, 2021, were discussed. The ISC President highlighted the importance of the forum and the topics it targets in this session.
HE the Minister welcome the cooperation between the organizing bodies of the Forum and the Ministry of Education, and HE reviewed the efforts made by the Ministry in supporting the promotion of science and innovation among school students in particular and society in general, which was represented in organizing the Oman Science Festival by the ministry.
