The Directorate General of Education in Muscat and Oman Oil Marketing Company signed a cooperation memorandum to provide tools for students with disabilities and training workshops of sign language to their families. The signing ceremony took place in the meeting hall at the Directorate in Bait Al Falaj and Khamis Al Shuabi, the Director General of Joint Services in Oman Oil Company signed the agreement with Kahmis Al Hadidi, the Assistant General Head for Projects, Finance and Administration in the Muscat Directorate. The agreement includes provision the students with disabilities with special medical wheel chairs, medical glasses and hearing aids. It also includes supporting the training program (My Communication with Families) for students' families to teach them the sign language. Khamis Al Hadidi thanked the Company of Oman Oil Marketing for their initiatives to support schools and meet the needs of students with disabilities and he said that the agreement would cover 22 different schools in Muscat. Moreover, Khamis Al Shuaibi added that the company pleased to support the efforts by Muscat Directorate to give an opportunity for educational experience to the students with disabilities by providing them with special medical tools to enhance the quality of education process in order to raise the school achievement.
