Dr.Aflah Al Kindi, the Director General of Education Directorate at Al Dhakhiyah Governorate, the Head of Examination Committee chaired an educational meeting at the Directorate in Nizwa and attended by Ahmed Al Mahrooqi, the Assistant Head of Education Evaluation, Education Programs and Private Schools, Salim Al Nabhani, the Director of Education Evaluation Department. Also, the meeting discussed the Directorate preparation for general education diploma examination for the first semester at the academic year 2019/2020.
At the beginning, the Director General of Al Dhakhilyah Directorate thanked the exerted efforts to prepare for the examination and he emphasized on the importance of role of examination center head to provide a comfortable atmosphere to students. Then, Mohammed Al Amri, a technical member at the Directorate presented a work paper of how to use electronic program of the examination and how to distribute students according to the program. Whereas, Ahmed Al Harrasi, a School Principle delivered another paper, which focused on the workflow at the examination centers in line with the resolution, 588/2015.He also discussed the roles of obsorvers, the members of system committees, the numbers of exams observers and controls to prevent cheating.
It is also to be mention that the number of examination centers in the government reached to forty-five centers in the different Willyates,in its various sections such as adult education students, free studies students and school students.
