Education Programs Department Celebrates World Aids Day

The Education Programs Department represented by the Education Awareness and Students Care organized a symposium of World Aids Day, which marks 1 December every year. Also, it took place in the Stage of Azzan bin Qais Boys School and targeted the school's students.
During the symposium, Saad Al Alawi, a Psychological Guide and Aids Program Supervisor presented a work paper where he clarified the meaning of Aids, how far it spread, the increase in cases at the Sultanate level and advised the students to avoid the methods that lead to the disease. Moreover, Rashid Al Saadi, and Aysha Al Mamri, the Religion Supervisors from Endowments and Religious Affairs participated also in the symposium. They directed students to follow Islamic rules, avoid the bad friends, to wear hijab (for girls) and not affected by the social media networks.
It is also to be noted that the symposium divided to two days, the first day was for males' students and presided over by Dr.Sultan Al Yahyaai, The Assistant General Head for Education Programs and Education Evaluation. The second day was for female students and patronized by Dr.Salah Al Bulushi, a Financial Expert in Al Buraimi Directorate.
