Local Committee of Scouting and Guidance Excellence Competition in North Al Sharqyiah organized the forum of scouting and guidance under patronage of Alia Al Habsi, Director General, with presence of directors, leaders, scouts and guides. The forum included a speech delivered by Tahani Al Maskari, Supervisor in Scouts and Guides Section. She mentioned that the aim of this forum is to inform the board heads of scout and guide units and the leaders of scouts and guides on what is the scouting and guidance movement and educational dimensions of the scout and guide activity as well as inform them about applying volunteer work through activity. The Assistant Director at the Scouting Department Abdulaziz Al-Nadabi presented a working paper titled “Scientific Methodology in the Scout Movement”. Then Yaqoub Al-Muqbali, Head of Community Service and Development presented a working paper entitled “Projects and Community Development”. At the end, the patron honoured the presenters, Al Sharqyiah University and Nizwa Bank.
