Under the patronage of Dr.Aflah Al Kindi, the Director General of Education Directorate at the Al Dhakhilyah Governorate, the Directorate celebrated the closing ceremony of training workshop of ceramic formation using clay, which took place in Nizwa University. The workshop organized by the Unit of Fine Art at the Individual Skills Section at the Directorate with presence of Saif Al Abdali, the Head of HR Development and Ahmed Al Kindi, the Director of Community Services at Nizwa University.
The ceremony began with a speech of the Section of Individual Skills delivered by the Teacher, Salim, and Al Naabi where he explained in details about the workshop and then, the Director thanked the extensive exerted efforts by teachers. After that, the patron of the event went in a tour around in the accompanying exhibition where he viewed various art works. Moreover, D.Farouq Omar, a Ceramic and Sculpture Specialist and a Participant Teacher in Nizwa University presented the workshop that targeted a number of Fine Arts teachers for five days.
In addition, Thurya Al Hanashiyah, a Teacher from Aysha Al Riyamiah School mentioned that through the workshop, she learnt new technology of sculpture to form shields to another an abstract style inspired by the Omani heritage. Also, Saleh Al bakri from Ahmed bin Al Nadhaer School praised the efforts of Individual Skills Section to organize the workshop which considered as an achievement to exchange experiences and ideas in the education
