3D Ceramics Workshop Kicks off in Nizwa University
The Unit of Fine Art at the individual skills Section at the Directorate General of Education at Al Dhakhilyah Governorate organized a thematic workshop of ceramic formation using clay that titled "3D Ceramics". It targeted 35 teachers and supervisors of Fine Arts teachers and took place in Nizwa University with a collaboration with the university for five days.
Moreover, D.Farouq Amar, a Ceramic and Sculpture Specialist and a Participant Techer in Nizwa University presented the workshop. Ali Al Hinai, the Acting of First Senior Teacher at Al Dhakhilyah Directorate in the Governorate pointed out that the workshop aimed to enrich the teachers' experiences at clay formation, provide them with 3D formation skills, keep up with current development at molding gypsum briquettes field and highlight the Omani heritage. In addition, Abd Al Azeez, a Supervisor of Fine Arts mentioned that the art formations will display in the annual exhibition of Fine Arts exhibition and he added that the unit seek to spread entrepreneurship culture among students and encourage them to conduct their students companies to sell their ceramic products.
