Dr. Saif bin Saeed Al Maamari, Advisor to the Minister for the Educational Management Affais and Chairman of the Quality Management Council, chaired the meeting of Quality Management System Review Meeting on Tuesday morning at Muscat Hall. Directors general and their assistants, Director General of National Career Guidance Center and Director General of Directorate General of Scout and Guides, attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Saif Al-Maamari welcomed the attendees and mentioned that the meeting will include six working sheets on external evaluation and audit, which will be launched by December 2019. The first working sheet entitled “Status of decisions taken at the previous Board meeting (Management Review) of the 2018 meeting” presented by Nozha Al Bulushi, Quality Specialist. The second working sheet presented by Mona Al Bulushi, Quality Specialist, entitled “Changes in external and internal issues related to the quality management system”. The third working sheet entitled “Information on the performance and effectiveness of the quality management system”. Dr Ali Al Darmaki, Head of Quality System Section, presented the fourth working sheet that entitled “results of analysis the measurements of QMS process indicators”. Dr Abdullah Al-Maashri, Quality Specialist, and Abdul Malik Al-Qarni, Customer Service Specialist, presented the fifth working paper entitled "Methodology for Measuring Beneficiary Satisfaction”. Abdullah Al Maashri presented the last working paper entitled “Effectiveness of actions taken to address risks and opportunities”
It is worth mentioned that the meeting aimed to improve the level of services provided by the Ministry, upgrade the processes and procedures related to the satisfaction of beneficiaries, develop and enhance employees’ skills and raise their awareness and work according to the principles and requirements of the quality management system.
