Ministry of Education represented by  Directorate General of Administrative Affairs, celebrated Omani women’s day on Thursday, 17october 2019, under patronage of Sayyidah Sana bint Hamad Al Busaidi, Advisor to the minister, with presence of the ministry’s female staff and number of schools principals.
The ceremony included welcoming tableau presented by students of Al Sarouj Basic Education School(1-4) , welcoming speech by Majidah Al Rahbi from Educational Media Department, a poem by Noora Al Badi and music where played by music skills teachers in Muscat. Bank Sohar has also made cash withdrawals of RO 10,000 to honor 10 of female employees in MoE who hold an account in the bank.
Shaikah Al Gaithia, Principal of Khawla bint Al Azoar Basic Education School(1-9) from Musandam, said “ The words of thanks and gratitude are a few for HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said, may God preserve him, as he dedicates this day to celebrate Omani women”.
