Minister of Education meets ALECSO Director General
HE Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al-Shaibania, Minister of Education, received yesterday morning at her office, HE Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of joint cooperation between the two parties and ways of enhancing them. They also discussed the future aspirations of the role of the organization and the member states in developing fields related to education, culture, and science. The meeting was attended by Mohammed bin Suleem Al Yaqoubi, Secretary of the Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
The visit comes on the sidelines of the attendance of HE the Director General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) for the Technical Innovation in Education Forum in the Middle East and North Africa 2019, which hosted by the Sultanate during the period from 15 to 17 September 2019.
