The events of the first training program for the assistants of schools principals at the governorate started at the Directorate General of Education in Al Dhakhiliyah Governorate in order to introduce the participants with school administration techniques. It organized by the Department of HR Development represented by, School Performance Development Section and targeted 28 assistants who joined administration work in schools by the current academic year. Moreover, the program attended by Dr.Aflah Al Kindi, the Director General of Education Directorate at the governorate, Nasser Al Khiyari, the Assistant General Head for Planning, HR Development and IT and others. Also, the program lasts for five days.
The training program began with a welcoming speech delivered by Saif Al Abdali, the Director of HR Development Department where he congratulated the assistants for their joining educational field. He also added that the program aimed to provide assistants with administration concepts, updates and evaluation tools. After that, Dr.Aflah Al Kindi, also delivered another speech and said that the program is rich of important topics, and considered as a foundation for the next stage in education leadership experience and development process by practice. He also pointed out that the importance of various types of career development to promote the education process and he demands assistants to benefit from action researches and previous experiences and encourage them to participate in diverse forums.
It is also to be noted that the program includes a number of work papers that discussed various education experiences, clarifying supervision forms and explaining school performance, school plan. Also, the meeting contains practical presentation about preparing a school plan based on self-evaluation results including some technical aspects, correspondences system, education indicators and how to prepare and organize a school time table.
