Um Al Kahir Basic Education School (10-12) in the Willayet of Izki honored a number of outstanding students in the project "Positive Interaction and Feeling of Responsibility for Home Country" as a part  of citizenship program that applied in the schools in its two versions for the academic year (2017/2018) and (2018/2019). The event attended by Dr.Aflah Al Kindi, the Director General of Education in Al Dhakhiliyah Govenorate, H.E.Yonus Al Manthari, Ashura Council Member of Willayet Izki and others.In addition, Fakhriyah Al Qassabiah, the Supervisor of the Project pointed out the project aimed to connect the students with their surroundings, develop their characters and highlight on the most important  the society causes.
It is also to be mentioning that the school came at the first place in the Sultanate level for the academic year (2017/2018) through its participation of project (The Risks of Dependence on Expatriate Workers in Agriculture in the Willayet of Izk).It Also, won also the first place at the project of ( Old Villages are Sustainable Legacy ) at the level of Al Dhakhiliyah Governorate.
