Training Program on Mathematics and Science Series Concludes in Al Dhahira Successfully

- Dhahirah educational directorate represented by the Department of Human Resources Development concludes the training program on science and mathematics series for grades (7-8), which carried out for three consecutive days for each group in different schools in the training center and career development for two weeks. The event attended by Hakam Al-Farsi, Assistant Director General , Sa'ad Al-Ghafri, Senior Supervisor of Mathematics and Mohammed Al-Jabri, Senior Supervisor of Chemistry. The program targeted science and mathematics teachers for grades (7-8) from different schools in Al Dhaihra Governorate. Moreover, the program implemented by various supervisors of mathematics and science subjects in the governorate. It aimed to introduce the participants to the philosophy and structure of the curriculum of classes (7-8) for the subjects of science and mathematics, training the participants on teaching methods of lessons and identify common mistakes in the curriculum.
- addition, Salim Al madsari, Mathematics Supervisor pointed out that the program focused on the development of sport thinking skills among students and what is required of the teacher to develop this type of thinking among his students, as well as analyzing the Cambridge curriculum of mathematics and identifying and discussing common mistakes. Also, Saeed Al Nasri, the Senior Teacher of Mathematics in Abu Dardaa Basic Education School added that the most important characteristic of the training program science and are career learning groups to benefit from opinions and experiences of other education teachers and supervisors.
