HE Dr. Hamood Khalfan Al Harthi, Undersecretary of Education & Curriculum of MoE, met number of private schools owners in Dhofar with presence of Dr Al Waleed bin Saeed Al Hinai, Director General of Dhofar Educational Directorate, and number of investors and educators.
During the meeting, his HE mentioned the importance of partnership between the ministry and the private educational institutions and the importance of offering good educational environment for students and qualified teachers. HE emphasized on the importance of the education sector role in sustainable development and offer jobs for job seekers. He mentioned that the aim of the meeting was to identify the challenges that face private schools and discuss ways of solving them and proposals of these schools to develop the private education sector.
The meeting included two worksheets. The first worksheet entitled “Private Schools in Dhofar” presented by Abood Al Harize, Assistant Director of Private Schools Department and the second work sheet showed the importance of employee registration in insurance presented by Hamdi Akak, Supervisor of insurance dues in the Public Authority for Social Insurance.
