1- What are private schools?
Schools owned by individuals, companies or private institutions that deliver education for Omani and non-Omani students and it includes the following schools:
A- Monolingual Schools: schools that teach all subjects in Arabic except for foreign languages.
B- Bilingual Schools: schools that teach mathematics, science and IT in English and may teach an international curricula.
C- International Schools: schools that get the accreditation and recognition of international institutions and supervised by these institutions and apply international programs and qualifications for all academic levels or it may be a series of schools in different countries.
2- who is the owner of the school?
Any person or legal entity establishes a private school in his name in accordance with the provisions of the private schools’ regulations.
